Description

Esfarayen-Neqab-Joghatai 20- and 30- inch gas expansion pipeline was aimed at delivering the required gas to Sabzevar Steel Plant, expanding the branched pipeline of Esfarayen, promoting residents’ welfare and well-being, and create jobs in the region. The operations were constructed in an area starting from 547th km on North-Northeast 48-inch gas transmission pipeline (Parchin to Sang Bast, near Sabzevar). In the first section, a 30-inch pipeline was laid from the starting point of the project to the point where a branched pipeline heads toward Sabzevar Steel plant. The first section has a length of 48 km. In the second (final) section, a 20-inch pipeline was laid from the branched pipeline towards the end of the pipeline route where it meets Esfarayen 10-inch pipeline. The final section has a length of 35 km.

In the point where the 30-inch pipeline meets the 20-inch pipeline, a 12-inch pipeline (3.5 km) is branched and headed toward Sabzevar Steel Plant to provide the facility with the fuel required to run its operations.
