Description

The client intended to supply feedstock from Isfahan Oil Refinery to Arak Petrochemical Complex facilities. This project was aimed at launching new petrochemical facilities and expanding Arak petrochemical complex. In 1998, Iran Ertebat Engineering Company was assigned to carry out locating and surveying operations, supplying the required materials and implementing the transmission pipeline. The pipeline starts from Isfahan, runs through Alavicheh and a 200-km mountainous terrain, and finally reaches Arak Petrochemical Complex. The pipeline became operational in 2009.

Arak Petrochemical Company has used the feedstock supplied through this transmission pipeline to launch its new products and facilities.

Scope of Work

  • Locating and surveying operations
  • Excavation, demolition, explosion, and ROW clearing operations
  • Supply and transportation of all materials needed for the construction of the transmission pipeline: 200,000 m
  • Derusting and insulating operations (steel pipes used in the transmission pipeline)
  • Stringing, welding, and pipe laying operations
  • Construction and mechanical operations of pig- launcher and receiver, and LBV stations
  • Testing, commissioning, and injection operations
