Description
- The oil fields of West Karun, which have been put on development phase, during various stages of exploration, include North Azadegan, South Azadegan, Darkhoin, North and South Yaran, Jufair and Bandar Karkheh fields. In order to send the extra-heavy crude oil produced upon processing in each of the fields to export outlets, a centralized system for pumping and transporting crude oil has been envisaged in the West Karun and Omidiyeh region. Petroleum Engineering and Development Company has carried out the basic engineering studies of the plan to increase the capacity of the West Karun pump houses with the aim of increasing the capacity of transporting extra heavy crude oil to one million barrels per day, and in this regard, the present project is on the agenda in the form of a EPC contract which includes general services, engineering, procurement of all main goods including spare parts, procurement of required materials and consumables, carrying out implementation operations, installation, quality control inspection, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the project of increasing the capacity of the West Karun pump house on an EPC basis.
