Description
The project was aimed at regulating gas pressure of Torbat Heydariyeh County, Khorasan Razavi Province, as well as supplying gas for Torbat Heydariyeh Steel Mill. The pipeline is a branch of main 48-inch line which starts near Dizbad Village, south of Mashhad-Neyshabur Road which continues as a 12-inch line over a flat route up to Robat-e-Sang Village to supply gas for Torbat Heydariyeh Steel Mill, and finally after passing a mountainous route, the pipeline joins 12-inch Torbat Heydariyeh-Kashmar pipeline near Abbasabad.
Scope of Work
- Supplying all building materials and special goods and spare parts of the project, 2 years
- Doing pipe laying operation of 30-inch pipeline, 50 km
- Installing 7 line-break control valves, constructing 1 pipeline branch, and installing a pipeline inspection gauge launcher / receiver (PIG L/R)
- Constructing 2 cathodic protection stations for pipeline maintenance
- Taking land acquisition steps of the route until drawing check
- Drafting as-built plans
- Conducting all necessary tests including hydrostatic pressure test of pipeline and stations as well as corrosion test, and installing markers all over the route

- Excavating in earthy and rocky terrains, and explosion-prone areas, 1,000,000 m3
- Supplying pipe, welding, and laying pipe all over the route, 50 km
- Doing radiographic evaluation in different sizes, 4,800 joints
- Supplying screened soil and doing embankment operation around pipes, 85,000 m3
- Employing reinforced concrete around pipeline on riverbed (CCW), 350 m
- Crossing 4 main roads and 1 railway and 9 intersections of floodway and seasonal river
