TEHRAN, Dec. 25 (Shana) — Khark Petrochemical Plant has generated 246 million dollars in revenues in the first 8 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

The plant supplied 771,000 tons of petrochemicals during the period, NIPNA reported.

Operating at 102% of its nameplate capacity and one of the oldest petrochemical facilities in Iran, the company exported all its output in the 8 months.

It produces items like methanol, propane, butane, naphtha and sulfur which are mostly exported.
